Location

Depending on the wind direction, we use several starting points in the vicinity of Poprad and Veľká Lomnica. We will specify the exact place of departure and meeting every evening at 19:00 before the flight via SMS and e-mail. Thanks to the stable morning conditions, Poprad and its surroundings are among the most suitable places for flying a balloon in Slovakia. We take off at sunrise, at approximately 06:00 local time - the moment when the landscape slowly wakes up and the Tatra peaks begin to play with colors. During the flight, you let yourself be carried away by the wind over villages and meadows with a view of the scenery of the majestic Tatras. According to the current wind flow, we climb to the optimal height, from which we are then allowed to drift over the landscape. As the balloon moves through the air based on physical principles – at the same speed and direction as the wind – the passenger experiences a sense of stability, silence and security during the flight. After landing, we will celebrate our adventure with a toast of sparkling wine, while the pilot tells you a short story from the history of the first airships - with the beautiful panorama of the High Tatras in the background. We will then move back to the meeting place, where a prepared breakfast will await us. During them, we will exchange experiences and impressions of the flight, you will receive a diploma on completion of the flight and you will also receive a nice attention. Every flight is different, unrepeatable and unique - just like the direction of the wind that guides you. The whole experience lasts about 3 hours, of which the flight itself is about 1 hour, but the memories of it will remain forever.
