Winter expedition balloon voyage over the High Tatras

Experience a unique high-mountain balloon flight over the snow-covered peaks of the High Tatras. This winter expedition is designed for all lovers of the mountains, adventure, and unrepeatable views that can only be experienced during the winter months.

We operate flights exclusively from December to March, when the snow cover transforms the Tatra landscape into a breathtaking winter panorama. We launch during the day so passengers can fully enjoy the views of the main Tatra ridge, the valleys, mountain lakes, and the surrounding massifs.

Each expedition lasts approximately 2 to 3 hours and is designed to offer the longest possible flight over the central part of the range. To preserve comfort and the exclusive character of the flight, the basket capacity is limited to a maximum of 8 passengers.

Flight route

The launch site is determined by the current weather forecast and, above all, by the wind direction. We launch from various locations on both the Slovak and Polish sides of the Tatras – for example from the Poprad, Liptov, Orava, or southern Poland areas.

We plan each launch so the balloon flies as much as possible through the centre of the High Tatras and offers the most spectacular views of the main ridge and the most prominent Tatra peaks. It is precisely this flexibility in choosing the launch site that lets us carry out unique high-mountain flights, which rank among the most beautiful balloon flights in Europe.

Meeting point

We confirm the exact meeting point, departure time, and the expected launch location the day before the flight at 17:00 by SMS or e-mail. The choice of location depends on the current meteorological conditions and wind direction.

Flexibility guarantee

If the flight does not take place due to unfavourable weather or unsuitable flying conditions, you can choose an alternative date free of charge or request a refund of the full amount paid.
