Frequently asked questions
How long is a balloon flight?
The flight itself takes approximately 60 minutes. The whole experience, including the preparation of the balloon, the flight, the ceremony after landing and the return to the meeting place takes about 3-4 hours.
Where does it start from?
Depending on the wind direction, we use several starting points in the vicinity of Poprad and Veľká Lomnica. We will specify the exact meeting place the day before the flight.
When is the best time for a balloon flight?
Balloon flights take place early in the morning at sunrise, when the conditions are most suitable - thanks to stable air and the most beautiful views of the Tatras.
What if the weather is bad?
Safety always comes first. If the weather does not allow a safe flight, the flight will be moved to an alternative date, or we will refund you if necessary.
What to wear for a balloon flight?
We recommend comfortable sports clothes and sturdy shoes. The temperature in the air is similar to that on the ground.
Can children fly too?
Yes. Children from the age of 6 can fly accompanied by an adult.
Is the flight also suitable for the disabled?
Yes, in many cases it is possible. We assess each individual situation individually and try to find a solution so that everyone can really enjoy the flight.
Where will the balloon land?
The landing place cannot be precisely determined in advance - the balloon moves in the direction of the wind. After landing, our crew will take you back to the meeting point.
